[Fwd: Build failed in Hudson: Derby-docs #29]

Hi Kristian,

I poked around in the log files, but I couldn't figure out what
error message was being displayed.

Can you help me figure out how to read the Hudson logs, and what
is wrong with the doc build?

thanks,

bryan

Hi Kristian, thanks for following up on this. It looks like your latest
version of the script is working fine. And thanks for the pointer to the
console output on the Hudson screen; I now understand a bit more about
how to navigate that UI.

thanks,

bryan

Hi Bryan,

I believe the failure is caused by a problem in the shell script being
run to determine if an error occurred during the docs build.
If you look at the console output [1] for the failed job(s), you can see
that gzip refuses to overwrite an existing file. I have tried to correct
this, and have scheduled a new job. Let's see if build #32 passes.
