[jira] [Created] (IGNITE-15967) Copying the remote index from the snapshot if the node has the same partition distribution
Maxim Muzafarov created IGNITE-15967:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Copying the remote index from the snapshot if the node has the same partition distribution
Key: IGNITE-15967
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-15967
Project: Ignite
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 2.12
Reporter: Maxim Muzafarov
Fix For: 2.13
During a snapshot restore procedure, the data (cache group partitions) is copied from a remote node to the local node according to affinity partition distribution on the local node. If a cache group has the distribution of the same partition as the snapshot on a remote node does it may be necessary to copy all the data right with the indexes (index partition) and avoid the index rebuild this way.
