[jira] Created: (WICKET-1334) README in wicket-examples confusing

README in wicket-examples confusing
-----------------------------------

                 Key: WICKET-1334
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-1334
             Project: Wicket
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: wicket-examples
    Affects Versions: 1.3.1
            Reporter: Jacek Laskowski

README in wicket-examples (in 1.3.1 distro) is completely unreadable and confusing. Where can I find the war? What's the root? "copy it to the webapps directory" is about Tomcat's webapp, isn't it? The only information I could find there relevant is that mvn package will build a war. It's definitely too less for inexperience users.

Completely unreadable and confusing? WTF? You are the first one to have problems with it.

Jacek Laskowski commented on WICKET-1334:
-----------------------------------------

Just to add to Martijn's comments: I'm a novice and have never worked with Wicket before. README didn't help a bit to understand how examples were organized and such. I have worked with Maven so I could figure out how to work it out. Believe me or not, but all files need some "redisign".
