Site publishing tidbits

Just FYI ...

The Forrestbot (http://xml.apache.org/forrest/forrestbot.html) and an
optional associated web site (http://forrestbot.cocoondev.org/index.jsp) is
an interesting tool.

I don't know if Maven has a similar tool, and I'm still waiting to hear how
we integrate Maven reports with Forrest rendering.

At the moment, we need to take documents from jakarta-james/src/xdocs, plus
we have to generate javadocs, and populate the site with those, too. The
target in the CVS is jakarta-james/www. When we have a james-site module,
the process seems largely the same, except for the fact that the javadocs
need to be generated from a different module. The Forrestbot seems to
handle that aspect pretty well, from what I see of the descriptors. And it
appears that it can automatically commit to CVS and/or scp directly to
daedalus.
