%T can be used to include "the time taken to serve the request, in seconds" in a
Log Format. The number of seconds always appears to be an integer, and is
therefore not all too useful for gathering performance statistics for sites with
sub-second response times. Should be able to either log milliseconds instead of
seconds, or specify a decimal format such as #.### for the request duration.

Thanks, overlooked %D!

Having the option to log seconds.milliseconds or milliseconds would still be
useful if you need to set up consistent logging across several Apache and Tomcat
servers, though.
