Page navigation fails with client side state management

           Summary: Page navigation fails with client side state management
           Product: Struts
           Version: Nightly Build
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Struts-Faces Library
        AssignedTo: struts-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: arthur.fitt@netregulus.com

I added:

<context-param>
<param-name>javax.faces.STATE_SAVING_METHOD</param-name>
<param-value>client</param-value>
</context-param>

to the web.xml file in the struts faces example application and the login page
no longer works. The login page is display but, after successful login the
login page is redisplayed instead of the menu page.
