   That's interesting, I'd be curious about the failure rates. It might be subjective, but I've got the feeling that the mkldnn 1.0 branch is quite a bit more flaky than master. Have you had a chance to check if the numeric stability has decreased with 1.0?
   
   Adjacent to CI talking a long time, could you elaborate in how far adding a test correlates to that? To develop the test, it still can be run locally first and thus in a fast environment. 
   
   But I totally agree that such a high failure rate is not acceptable.
