   Quick update: I am actively working on this issue and (finally!) managed to reproduce the test case that shows the inconsistency caused by reusing `taxoArrays` on an older checkpoint. This update is to just notify reviewers that another revision to the PR is coming. Cleaning up the code and pushing it soon
