Though there is [reference of metric items|https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.7.1/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-common/Metrics.html] and [Javadoc|https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.7.1/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-project/api/org/apache/hadoop/metrics2/package-summary.html], we have no user documentation to configure metrics system.
