Session control

Hi all,

I have a question concerning the control of sessions, I'm using Catalina
4.04.

I start up Catalina, access a number of pages then shut down catalina.
I wait for a few minutes then restart Catalina.

I can then access the same pages as though nothing had happened, ie no
shutdown of Catalina.

Is this a feature or a bug? Is it something  I can configure?

I would expect the session to be invalid after a restart.
