[jira] [Comment Edited] (ISIS-1266) Expose an Isis metamodel to
RDF, SparQL, "semantic web"

Dan Haywood edited comment on ISIS-1266 at 11/26/15 7:16 AM:
-------------------------------------------------------------
The suggested implementation approach for EST-383 (Lucene) might work here as well.
It does depend what sort of integration we're talking about. Will Isis itself _be_ the RDF datastore, manufactoring RDF triples dynamically from its metamodel? Or will it merely integrate with a tool such as Apache Jena? I suspect the latter, since then we can get Jena to store the info and support its SparQL query language.

> There have been various discussions about RDF and semantic web etc on the users mailing list. This ticket is just as a placeholder to the fact that there is obviously interest in some sort of integration here.

> From Cesar (private email to Dan):
> Interestingly, I found out that Apache provides a semantic approach in Java (RDF – SPARQL) through Apache JENA.
