java.net.UnknownHostException: /axis/aa.html . Error hostname in Http Proxy Recording.
Summary: java.net.UnknownHostException: /axis/aa.html . Error
hostname in Http Proxy Recording.
Product: JMeter
Version: Nightly (Please specify date)
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: Critical
Priority: Other
Component: HTTP
AssignedTo: jmeter-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: r_q_d@yahoo.com
Platform:
OS: Windows XP
Java :build 1.4.1_02-b06
JMeter: 1.7, 1.8.1, Nightly
Browser: IE6.0.2600
When do Http Proxy Recording I always get the errors in IE6.0
as :java.net.UnknownHostException: /axis/aa.html,
while the recorded script always dislay the hostname as the same as path
(/axis/aa.html)
I tried the 1.7, 1.8.1, Nightly version, all of them seems have the same
problem.
These are the steps I used to get the error:
1. use IE to access http://localhost/axis/aa.html, it gives me the correct
result.
2. run the jmeter
3. add a thread group under test plan.
4. add a Http Proxy Server under WorkBench
5. make sure the port number is 8080 for the Http Proxy Server.
6. change settings for IE: Tools-->Internet Options-->Connections-->LAN
Settings-->Proxy Settings:
check the check box,
input 127.0.0.1 in the address, 8080 in the port.
7. input http://localhost:8080/axis/aa.html in the browser address box, the
browser display: java.net.UnknownHostException: /axis/aa.html, the JMeter
recorded it, but the Server Name or IP is the same as path which
is: /axis/aa.html
