[jira] [Created] (TEZ-532) Drop the proto byte field from the DAGPlan once user byte fields have been read

Siddharth Seth created TEZ-532:
----------------------------------

Summary: Drop the proto byte field from the DAGPlan once user byte fields have been read
                 Key: TEZ-532
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TEZ-532
             Project: Apache Tez
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Siddharth Seth

To reduce AM memory pressure, we should be able to drop the user payload from the DAGPlan - in most cases, since these are converted into byte[] fields within the AM.
