[launcher] Can't start Eclipse using jre directory (I.e. JNI)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Key: HARMONY-4951
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-4951
Project: Harmony
Issue Type: Bug
Components: App-Oriented Bug Reports
Reporter: Sian January
Priority: Minor
Eclipse 3.3 has a new feature where you can copy your JRE to a directory within the Eclipse installation (eclipse/jre) and it will use that JRE to launch. However this does not work with Harmony on Windows, with either DRLVM or the IBM VM. When you try to launch Eclipse a dialog box pops up that says "JVM Terminated. Exit Code = 2" and then has some strange characters and some other text after that. I think this is related to starting Harmony via JNI as that is how Eclipse tries to launch when the jre directory is used.
