The error occurs when an entity is requested without selecting all key predicates.
For this case the "Id" has to be set at the {{Entity}} value object (via {{setId(URI id)}} method).
If the "Id" is correctly set the NPE will not occur.

Could you please try/check this?

Btw, a NPE should not happen in such a case  ;o( 
Hence we check for a solution/fix for the NPE.
