FYI: enhancement to taglibs log project

Hi all,

FYI, I just added a patch with enhancements that I made to the Jakarta
Taglibs Log project. It's in Bugzilla at #
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42413
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42413 . Patch is attached
there.

I hope it gets included & helps out! Credit to F5 Networks (

log4j v. commons-logging made no difference to me. Thanks for reviewing the
patch -- I hope it gets included. Remember to check the TODOs in intro.xml.

Thanks Matthew,

Things move slow here in Taglibs, but I'll make sure I've looked at
this by the end of the week.

How are you finding trunk of the Log Taglib? Specifically the usage of
commons-logging rather than log4j?

I made that change years ago and it's never been released. I'm not
sure if it would be better to use that, or to create two taglibs, one
for log4j and one for jdk logging.
