[users@httpd] invisible server

Hi
I have recently switched from a Static IP to a dynamic IP.
This has caused my server to be invisible from the "outside".
I have a small network and the internal machines can see the server at http://www.nimmersoft.dk (and at the current IP) but when friends try with the name from the outside they just get a "page cannot be shown/found" error. no explanation as to why.
I have joined a DuýnDns service DynDns.dk which is supposed to be able to point peole to my server. But it doesn't
My Apache serve is 1.3.29 and runs on a WindowsME machine. I use ZoneALarm for a firewall. And it is used to deliver pages to "the world".
The server has been working for a long time with the static IP and that's the only thing that has changed.
When pinging the nimmersoft.dk I get a IPaddress which corresponds to the one that I get at www.Myip.dk .
It seems that the hostname is resolved but no answer

What can be wrog and how can I fix it?

Two thoughts...

1: When did you set up the dynamic dns stuff? Is the dynamic DNS A record for a domain address that was allready in use before it became dynamic? If it was and the change is recent, keep in mind that it can take a few days for some DNS changes to propagate through the net.

2: If the dynamic DNS updating is flaky, it might be that the domain address sometimes points to the correct IP address but sometimes doesn't.

/Jonas

Thank you VERY much for confirming that my page CAN be reached.
Then I really don't know why my site can't be loaded by my sister in Jutland (Jylland). I tried it myself at work today and it went fine too.
Have no idea why it does this. Do you?

And yes my Zonealarm is ok.
Thanks very much for your patience and feed-back

If the dynamic DNS server does not your A record point to the correct address, Apache really has nothing to do with the problem. You need to check the configuration of the client you use to update the dynamic DNS record(s) and see why it doesn't work.

Have you made sure that you've opened the port for Apache in ZoneAlarm?

Not sure what your website's supposed to be, but when I connect to http://nimmersoft.dk/ I get a page welcoming me to NimmerSoft, with a bunch of counters below a big flower and a menu on the left. That's not your site?
