Accented characters in Tomcat 4.1.3

Hi,

I am testing Tomcat 4.1.3 and in my configuration it is showing "?" in place
of accented characters, some one knows if ther is some variable that has to
be set to Tomcat (with Tomcat 4.0.3 the characters are displayed correct.)?
