[ANN] Apache Maven Daemon 1.0.2 released

The Apache Maven team is pleased to announce the release of the
Apache Maven Daemon version 1.0.2

This release provides binaries based on Maven 3.9.9

(From now on, Maven Daemon 1.x line will wrap Maven 3.x binaries,
while Maven Daemon 2.x will wrap Maven 4.x binaries. Previous releases
used the same version for both binaries with "m39" and "m40"

The release source and binary bundles are available for download at:
https://downloads.apache.org/maven/mvnd/1.0.2/

The changelog is available at:

Probably it is time now to add the formula to homebrew/core (https://docs.brew.sh/Acceptable-Formulae).
I think we satisfy the requirements there...

Hi,
The homebrew tap is still at 1.0.1 (https://github.com/mvndaemon/homebrew-mvnd/blob/master/Formula/mvnd%401.rb).
I see that this does not belong to the ASF GitHub organisation, so do we consider this part of the Maven Daemon release process?

It is documented as official way to install in https://github.com/apache/maven-mvnd?tab=readme-ov-file#install-using-homebrew, though.
I don’t think all ASF committers have write access to the repo, so there is gap here.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.
Konrad
