Axis would like to start migrating the dist area to svnpubsub. Can we get the directories (dev and release) created in the dist repo so we can start populating them?

Commit notifications should be set up per subdirectory (similar to what we have for the Web site, see INFRA-5152):

axis/c -> c-commits@axis.apache.org
axis/java -> java-commits@axis.apache.org
axis2/c -> c-commits@axis.apache.org
axis2/java -> java-commits@axis.apache.org
all other commits: general@axis.apache.org
