Validation results
Hi people,
i've tried to validate index page of default publication with the w3c validator
(http://validator.w3.org/check?uri= ). What i have found is that page is a
html4 and not a xhtml page. This sounded strange so i gave a look to
page2xhmtl. For example there's <img src="{$root}/images/project-logo.png"/>
that becomes <img src="{$root}/images/project-logo.png"> raising an error.
I've tried to change it to <img src="{$root}/images/project-logo.png"></img> but
it has no effect. I thought that is a xalan {feauture|bug|setting} (choose the
one you like according to your mood ;) ).
It's my intuition correct? In any case, there's a way to fix this? I would like
to modify page2xhtml to provide a xhtml/css and tableless page accordant to
w3c validators.

its not a xalan bug. the serializer is set to html
the final serialization is to html (publication-sitemap.xmap line 154).
you can change it to xhtml there.

i am a big +1 for a page2xhtml that gets rid of tables.
