[jira] Commented: (BEEHIVE-1044) ControlClientAnnotationProcessor causes StringIndexOutOfBoundsException

Russ Baker commented on BEEHIVE-1044:
-------------------------------------

I recommend that this bug be closed. I created a JPF that uses a Control that doesn't exist. When I ran "ant clean deploy drt," APT complained that it could not find the Control, and APT failed, like it was supposed to do, instead of giving a "StringIndexOutOfBoundsException."

> If a pageflow references a control (using the @Control annotation) which does not exist and has a classname of less than 4 charactors, the ControlClientAnnotationProcessor throws a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException when trying to find the control's interface type.
