Sergey Soldatov updated HDDS-16421:
-----------------------------------
        Parent: HDDS-10338
    Issue Type: Sub-task (was: Bug)

> Close the stream's block file when a request is rejected on the stream
> ----------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: HDDS-16421
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-16421
> Project: Apache Ozone
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: Ozone Datanode
> Affects Versions: 2.2.1
> Reporter: Sergey Soldatov
> Assignee: Sergey Soldatov
> Priority: Major
>
> readBlockImpl reports an out of range offset with StreamObserver.onError, which ends the call from the datanode side. GrpcXceiverService closes the stream's RandomAccessFileChannel only when the client completes the stream or a request throws, so the block file stayed open.
