[C2] Internal error
Hi,
For some time C2 crashes my Tomcat/Catalina. Finaly I decided to
downgrade my JDK from 1.3_02 to 1.2.2_08. Now I get:
type internal-server-error
message The sitemap handler's sitemap is not available
description org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: The sitemap handler's sitemap is not available
sender org.apache.cocoon.servlet.CocoonServlet
source Cocoon servlet
stacktrace
org.apache.cocoon.ProcessingException: The sitemap handler's sitemap is not available.
at org.apache.cocoon.sitemap.Manager.setupProcessing(Manager.java:185)
at org.apache.cocoon.sitemap.Manager.invoke(Manager.java:96)
at org.apache.cocoon.Cocoon.process(Cocoon.java:288)
at org.apache.cocoon.servlet.CocoonServlet.service(CocoonServlet.java:432)
...
Can someone confirm if it is true for the most recent versions? Maybe it
is my configuration only?
Thanks, Laszlo

I had some strange problems after an CVS checkout...
...but yes I do use it on Linux SuSE 7.1 kernel 2.4 with SUN JDK 1.3_02

What can be the problem then? I have tried IBMs JDK1.3 too right now.
It is like SUNs 1.2.2_08, the same error page. Under cocoon dir, there
are cocoon.xconf and sitemap.xmap correctly unpacked from the cocoon.war
package (ofcourse the cocoon dir was deleted before changing the java
implementation).
Anyone use Cocoon2 daily CVS and Tomcat/Catalina 4.0b3 together here? Is it
working for him/her?
Also, what is the primary development platform for Cocoon2?

Forgot: Debian Linux 2.2 rev3 on a K6-2 500Mhz/320Mb ram. It will be a problem
with Cocoon 2 I guess. I have a bit old copy, and it works. The newer versions
crash Catalina (ok, it can be the problem as well) if I use JDK 1.3_02, or
gives this error if I use JDK 1.2.2_08.

Strange then. Maybe I will try to retrieve older versions from CVS, and
narrow down this problem to a specific change.
Until then, there is a part of the log:

(The error page is displayed).

On which platform?

Currently there are almost other problems but not that the sitemap
handler isn't available.
