JMeter - Pause (and resume) execution

Good Morning.
I need to do the following query.
I have a Jmeter script that sends a request called
"OperatorProvisioningProduct" that rents content.
So I need to expire that database entries and let the execution continue.
Until this content expires, I need the execution to be paused
(indefinitely).
Is there a way to tell JMeter to pause for several minutes until it expires
and continue working?
