[jira] [Created] (ARTEMIS-5698) Memory leak in client when management API responses are big

Thorsten Meinl created ARTEMIS-5698:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Memory leak in client when management API responses are big
                 Key: ARTEMIS-5698
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARTEMIS-5698
             Project: ActiveMQ Artemis
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: JMS
Environment: Java JMS client 2.42.0 but likely also all older versions
            Reporter: Thorsten Meinl

When the response of a management API request sent (and received) using the JMS client and the response is big (larger than ~200kB) then https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JOHNZON-396 is triggered which causes a memory leak. Eventually the Java heap runs full and causes an OutOfMemoryError.
This happens, for example, when requesting all addresses on the broker and there are more than ~4,000 addresses.
