[jira] [Commented] (AMBARI-8811) Rolling Upgrade: inconsistent statuses

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-8811?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14262998#comment-14262998 ]

Tom Beerbower commented on AMBARI-8811:
---------------------------------------

COMPLETED state immediately after upgrade start, and only then become PENDING. It must be that the group does not have any items initially so it is reported as COMPLETED. When items are added and go to PENDING then the group status switches to PENDING.

> 1. The currently executing upgrade group goes back and forth from IN_PROGRESS to PENDING state.
> 2. Completed upgrade groups should have COMPLETED state instead of PENDING.
> 3. When the upgrade is paused, overall progress shouldn't be at 100%. The percentage completion should remain as is.
