[Bug 65759] New: Upgrade Apache Commons BeanUtils in Plugin Manager

https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=65759

            Bug ID: 65759
Summary: Upgrade Apache Commons BeanUtils in Plugin Manager
           Product: JMeter
           Version: 5.4.1
          Hardware: PC
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main
          Assignee: issues@jmeter.apache.org
          Reporter: akhila_thupalli@premierinc.com
  Target Milestone: JMETER_5.5

The latest version of Jmeter plugin manager 1.7 is using the older version of
the Apache Commons BeanUtils 1.9.3 despite of there is a latest version of
Apache Commons BeanUtils 1.9.4 available. Black Duck security scan raised this
as a critical security vulnerability for using Apache Commons BeanUtils 1.9.3.
Can we know when jmeter plugins manager plans to update to the newer version.

Thanks for the report, but issues of third party components (as JMeter plugin
manager) should be reported to the maintainers of such products.

I think the correct location for your concerns would be
https://github.com/undera/jmeter-plugins
