Depending on what you mean by Excel format, I believe that a simple tab delimited
file renamed as blah.xls opens under excel just fine. No bells and whistles of
course, but for some of us, that is all we want.

(Data structured like this:)
blah    blahheh    blahhw    wah    22    43    blahheh
