Preparing Moodle Plugin as first Apache OpenMeetings Incubator release

Hi,

we have a new version of the Moodle Plugin available.
We could release that as the first Apache Incubator release ... and learn
the release process by a small example compared to the main project.

What do you think, what steps need to performed before we can do that?

>From what I understood by the docs:
We need some kind of Keys to sign the package.
We need to either request or create a download area for OpenMeetings in
general.
It needs to be discussed how projects release a Plugin (that actually is
kind of a Sub-Project to OpenMeetings).

Do we have anybody on our list that can fill some of the knowledge gaps?
Otherwise we may contact the general list.

Sebastian

So the first thing тув to be done is code "cleanup"?
I saw "code analyzers" in Jenkins which might help.

You you give me example of licences I can process all moodle plugin code to
have them.

As a mentor, I support using Jenkins. I believe it is sufficient to
file a request to infra team for that.

Let me just clarify one point. The first release here is non-technical
stage which means all licenses are in place, all dependent components
are removed from svn and delivered during bundling process, the RAT
passes and the related vote to make the first release of *Apache*
product passes. This usually comes along with incubator graduation and
moving the product to a separate incubator domain (both in svn and
web)

According to
http://wiki.apache.org/general/Jenkins?action=show&redirect=Hudson

We should ask our mentor to give commiters access to the Jenkins.

Can anyone please add access for Sebastian and me?

I'll try to set up the build for our project

Thanks in advance
