Nested arg element in "java" core task does not work

Summary: Nested arg element in "java" core task does not work
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: asanc@cqc.ictnet.es

The "java" core task does not pass the arguments specified in
a nested "arg" element to the executing class.

I have to resort to the "args" argument of the "java" element. It
works but then I receive a deprecation warning.
