> Hadoop also adds a JMX get command, but since we have the shell already we can simply wire in the JMX call and retrieve one specific metric, or all metrics of a specific record, or all metrics across all records. For an example I would like to point to me JMXToolkit (https://github.com/larsgeorge/jmxtoolkit) - doesn't need all the extras, but as an example to do the one, partial, or complete query.
