Auto-acknowledge enabled; anyone object?

I've just turned on GNATS' auto-acknowledge flag, which causes it to send
a message to the originator (as we've been claiming it did for a long
time, even though it didn't). The ack message looks like this:

From: apbugs@hyperreal.org
Subject: Re: test/2311: Testing auto-acknowledge
Reply-To: apbugs@hyperreal.org, apache-bugdb@apache.org
In-Reply-To: Your message of 28 May 1998 18:58:18 -0000
        <19...@hyperreal.org>

Thank you very much for your problem report.
It has the internal identification `test/2311'.
The individual assigned to look at your
report is: apache.

Does anyone have a problem with this feature remaining enabled?
