Ambari allows editing "run" and "log" folders post installation. This result in service not starting properly. It was not editable in prior releases. To repro, edit the run and log folders for MAPREDUCE2 and start the service. Looks like both YARN and MAPREDUCE2 services need the log and run folder parameters to be uneditable.
