[jira] [Created] (KAFKA-20900) docker_sanity_test.py should not ignore "Error" count
Chia-Ping Tsai created KAFKA-20900:
--------------------------------------
Summary: docker_sanity_test.py should not ignore "Error" count
Key: KAFKA-20900
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-20900
Project: Kafka
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Chia-Ping Tsai
Assignee: Chia-Ping Tsai
The `failure_count` does not account for environment or execution errors. This leads to a misleading console output stating "all tests passed successfully", even when no tests were actually executed
{code:py}
runner = HTMLTestRunner.HTMLTestRunner(
stream=outfile,
title=f'Test Report: Apache Kafka {mode.capitalize()} Docker Image',
description='This demonstrates the report output.'
)
result = runner.run(combined_suite)
return result.failure_count
{code}
