Tomcat 6.0 Custom Realm with Digest Authentication

Hi,

    Iam able to develop a custom realm with basic type But when i change
this to DIGEST it is not digesting the password.
   Please provide     Any example or some detailed steps.

I think maybe you are misunderstanding how DIGEST authentication works.

After configuring Tomcat to do BASIC authentication, what changes did
you make other than changing the word BASIC to DIGEST in your web.xml?
