I've looked into this a bit more and I'm wondering whether the way forward may be to allow calls to the CuratorFramework's builder methods to specify a set of error codes that they would like the operation to be retried on (in addition to the ones already hard coded into the RetryLoop).

This would allow the current case to be handled by just specifying that the NOAUTH case should be retried. Thoughts?
