Not sure if you got this working but I have a feeling you've got the API key
property slightly wrong, I think it should be
'comment.validator.akismet.apikey' not 'comment.validator.akismet.key'. 

I only noticed this myself when trawling my roller log when I found the
following line:

 WebloggerConfig:getProperty - Fetching property
[comment.validator.akismet.apikey=<removed>]

have only just restarted my blog server after changing it myself so too
early to say if it works or not yet.
