   CouchDB 2.1.1.  To reproduce:
   
       curl -v -X PUT http://admin:abc123@localhost:6002/foo/a\?rev=1-967a00dff5e02add41819138abb3284d -H 'Content-Type: multipart/related;boundary="abc123"'
   
   (note the lack of `-d ...`, but any malformed data causes a similar error)
   
   Observe the resulting response:
