[DISCUSS] Release geronimo-txmanager 2.1

Upcoming OpenEJB and Geronimo releases are going to require the
release of geronimo-txmanager 2.1 (i.e. geronimo-transaction and
geronimo-connector jars).

TCK results look good and I haven't heard of any issues. So, it seems
like a good time to start prepping for a release.

Anybody have pending changes? Any objections to start working on a
release?

Maybe. I think the NOTICE files that it generates are messy (even the
new version), misleading or confusing, and sometimes incorrect. Since
I'm the one that complains about it, I'll take a look at it to see if
can be customized to address my issues. May need some help from you or
Jason Dillon...

Would anyone object if I modified it to use the maven-remote-
resources plugin?

I say let's get it started. I'd be glad to help too ... it would be
good for me to get my feet wet with this.
