Problem building daytrader app using maven
OK, so maybe I'm missing something obvious as I'm not super familiar with
maven, but when I try to build the daytrader application, I get the
following error message:
[INFO] Scanning for projects...
[INFO]

[ERROR] FATAL ERROR
[INFO]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] Error building POM (may not be this project's POM).
Project ID: org.apache.geronimo.daytrader:daytrader-ejb

Validation Messages:
[0] 'dependencies.dependency.version' is missing for
org.apache.geronimo.specs:geronimo-jpa_3.0_spec

Apparently I have a problem reading directions, since I was using maven 2.0.4
as supplied by Fedora instead of the 2.0.5 or later as required.
