Why can't we run Java on people.apache.org?

Do you know the reason why we cannot run Java on minotaur? or can you
check this with the ASF infra?

Ah ha.. this explains it.. I was trying the Sun JDK, and I will get a
copy from http://www.freebsd.org/java/

What kind of JVM were you trying to run? Minotaur runs FreeBSD 6.2,
which requires a special JVM compiled specifically for that version pf
FreeBSD.
