[jira] (SUREFIRE-842) maven-failsafe-plugin V 2.12 conceils issue #TRUEZIP-227

Christian Schlichtherle created SUREFIRE-842:
------------------------------------------------

             Summary: maven-failsafe-plugin V 2.12 conceils issue #TRUEZIP-227
                 Key: SUREFIRE-842
                 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SUREFIRE-842
             Project: Maven Surefire
          Issue Type: Bug
Components: Junit 4.7+ (parallel) support, Maven Failsafe Plugin
    Affects Versions: 2.12
Environment: Windows Vista, Maven 3.0.4, Mercurial, Oracle JDK 1.7.0_03
            Reporter: Christian Schlichtherle

Some changes in the maven-failsafe-plugin between version 2.11 and 2.12 cause my integration tests to report false negative, i.e. they pass although they were expected to fail because there are known multithreading issues in my code.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue can be found here: http://java.net/jira/browse/TRUEZIP-228

--------------------------------------------------

Thanks a lot. I'll give it a try as soon as 2.13 appears on Maven Central.

Kristian Rosenvold closed SUREFIRE-842.
---------------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 2.13
         Assignee: Kristian Rosenvold

The error handling has been reorganized totally for 2.13. Unfortunately I am unable to build/reproduce the truezip problem, but I dont think we conceal any errors any more ;)

Feel free to reopen this issue if the problem persists with 2.13
