Xalan 2.x XSLT support

Does anyone know what XSLT spec that Xalan currently supports? I've been
seeing a lot of version="1.1" in some stylesheets I've been looking at but I
thought that version never made it out of working draft status and was
dropped- 2.0 is the next release.
