Certain elements of the flow do not need to be exported into a template. This came as part of the discussion on NIFI-826. Given the complexity of NIFI-826 and unknown complexity of this effort I would prefer not to address it in a single JIRA.
Still need to discuss with [~mcgilman] as to what elements do not need to be exported.
