Question on Servlets and Macromedia Flash

Hi,

I just read an interesting article in a computer magazine on Macromedia
Flash and I started to think about replacing HTML pages with Flash.

We have a database based internet app (contact management) which has an
HTML frontend. The user has to do a lot of database inputs, make it's
own selections, create lists ...

I don't think about the multimedia features of Flash. I just dream to
have a good GUI (from the users point of view!) for our internet apps
and get rid off the standard HTML pages. Of course, I have to save the
Java server investment. Flash MX has some UI components like checkbox,
radiobox, listbox, combo ...

So my question is: does anyone has experience using Flash Remoting and
Servlets together in an appliation, which write user inputs into databases.

Greetings,
Andreas
