[Issue 126208] New: Navigator in sidebar has less functionality than
stand alone Navigator
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126208
Issue ID: 126208
Issue Type: ENHANCEMENT
Summary: Navigator in sidebar has less functionality than stand
alone Navigator
Product: Draw
Version: 4.1.1
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: CONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: ui
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: rb.henschel@t-online.de
The standalone navigator (F5) in Draw/Impress has the following functions,
which are all missing in the sidebar version of the Navigator.
(1)
You can drag objects inside the tree view in the Navigator to a new place in
that tree. This changes the order in which the objects are traversed by the tab
key.
(2)
You can drag an object from the navigator to a page/slide, even in a different
document. If necessary, you will be asked to enter a new name and then a copy
of the object is inserted.
Request: The Navigator in the sidebar should have the same functions than the
standalone version of the Navigator.
