Calling i18n methods from java classes

Hi All,

 

Is it possible to call the cocoon i18n code from outside of cocoon? I.e. I
have a method that needs to translate certain texts but these do not reside
within cocoon. I appreciate the lack of transformer stage outside of cocoon
but can the 'lookup' code be re-used outside of standard pipeline
functionality?
