> A log4j 1.2.15 release candidate is available from http://
> people.apache.org/builds/logging/log4j/1.2.15. In addition to
> the .zip and .tar.gz and associated MD5 and SHA1 checksums, an
> archive of the files to be placed in the Maven repository is also
> available for downloads (the same log4j-1.2.15.jar from the other
> archives, plus a Java source jar, a POM file and license file all
> with checksums). A corresponding tag (v1_2_15_rc1) has been made
> in the SVN.

> The archives do not provide any indication that they are not the
> actual 1.2.15 release other than the archive name and the lack of
> PGP signatures. If these release candidates are accepted as a
> release, the files will simply be renamed and moved to the
> distribution directory and the PGP keys will be uploaded. A
> tentative release date of March 5th 2007 appears in the HISTORY.txt
> file. If the vote does not conclude by that time, the release
> candidate will need to be pulled at least to reset that date.
