Adding synonyms using the YTEX pipeline

Hello

I read the ytex wiki about adding your own dictionary<https://code.google.com/archive/p/ytex/wikis/DictionaryLookup_V05.wiki> but I was wondering if I'm only interested in adding a few terms whether I can simply add them to dbo.umls_aui_fword and dbo.v_snomed_fword_lookup directly?
